Gold + Creepers

If I could be wearing any shoe in the world right now, it would be these gold Chanel creepers.

That is all.

These Jasc oxfords by Robert Clergerie are the definition of dancing shoes. What more could a girl want?

Nothing. Thats what.

Stripes + Spots

Keds and Madewell have teamed up to form a beautiful love connection of shoes! The bright funky stripes and polkadots are getting me in the mood for one thing: Spring.

DIY + Success!

Happy Almost Thanksgiving!
Remember a while back when I posted the gold glitter Miu Miu DIY? Well, I finally got around to attempting it and wanted to share the results. So yes, not perfect, but I've never gotten so many comments/compliments on my shoes (except for maybe my Jeffrey Campbells..) and for the most part the feedback was positive! A couple of my sassy friends would just roll their eyes, but haterz gonna hate. Obviously you have to keep the rest of your outfit toned down or you risk the clash of the titans part II.
Also, side note, these shoes are just cheap white ones from target, and the rhinestones and glitter are from hobby lobby. So yeah, they're pretty darn accessible.
TRY IT.

DIY + Miu²

How absolutley lust-worthy are these gold Miu Miu sneakers? Well, you're in luck! I may or may not have found the most wonderful DIY directions that exists on this planet we call earth. And it not only involves glitter (the very substance of beauty itself) but also RHINESTONES. So don't worry your pretty little head, I will indeed be trying this out myself ASAHP (as soon as humanly possible). Check back at some point for the results, for better or for worse.

Jeffrey + Campbell

Hello my lovely readers! I have returned from my worldly travels tanned, exhausted and dying to get back to school and start the new year off with a bang.  After Ibizan clubs, midnight thievery on trains and a lifetime of Greek salads, I'm ready to get back to work. For those of you who have messaged me complaining of symptoms of withdrawal from Glitterature, I thank you. It makes this little past time of mine 100 times better.

I thought I'd start off my first post back with some BANGIN' shoes I just bought.

They are the "Lita" shoe by the fabulous Jeffrey Campbell. His shoes just have the most outrageous and unique profiles and some amazing structural details. I was severely tempted by the paint splattered pair pictured further down in this post, but decided the pink and orange combination suited my wardrobe best. To inagurate them, I had a lunch date with one of my best girlfriends at Sandra Bullock's latest Austin restaurant called Walton's Fancy and Staple.

It's in an adorable little brick building downtown that's half food and half florist, so the place is covered in flowers. I wore my new Jeffrey Campbell's with a similarly colored romper I bought while in England over the break. Per.Fect.

Others on my wish list:

(duh)

granny meets awesome.

Look at that contour! So fascinating!

Okay now I should probably go and finish unpacking. YAY SUMMER. please don't end. but do. I'm conflicted.

Nike + Run

Check out this awesome new collection by Nike Free Run +2 called the "City Pack." They took 5 affluential cities and gave each a shoe with its own individual iconic color. The cities represented are New York, London, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro and Shanghai.

“Deep Burgundy represents the tile rooftops of traditional architecture dotting the Shangahi skyline, Pine Green captures Rio de Janeiro’s grit and flair, Anthracite’s starkness is quintessentially New York, Black channels Tokyo street style, while London’s version of the Free Run+ 2 arrives in a gentlemanly Khaki.”

check out the promotional video for the Shanghai shoe, produced by the creative agency "NeochaEDGE" which my sister is currently interning at in Shanghai. pretty sick, huh? Maybe she'll hook me up with a Shanghai edition, since technically Shanghai is the only city I've ever consistently run in for a substantial amount of time.

Hermes + Vans

Vans custom designed a collection of shoes for Robert Verdi that are inspired by his Hermes scarves collection. I think they're totally mint. (and yes I'm using that word post- Super 8. Those 70's kids were rockin'.)

These are my fave.

Spotted at Honestly WTF.

Now I just need to get to the stage in life where Vans is custom making shoes based on my collection of tea towels form around the world.
